How to submit a useful correction

If a directory entry has an outdated website, an inaccurate service description or a missing detail, use the form above to describe what needs to change. Include the agency name, the page where you found the information and the exact text that should be reviewed. A clear description helps distinguish a correction to an existing entry from a request for a new listing.

For a link correction, provide both the current destination and the working destination. For a description update, explain which service has changed and point to a public page that confirms the new information. If an agency no longer offers a service mentioned here, identify the service and link to the agency's current services page where possible. Please avoid sending confidential client documents or private contact information.

You can also report a broken link in an article, a date that needs clarification or a statement that lacks a reliable source. In your message, quote the relevant sentence and give the URL of the page where it appears. If you have a direct source for the correction, include its full web address so the claim can be checked against the source rather than inferred from a summary or search result.

This form is for corrections to the directory and its guides. It is not an application form for an agency and does not submit information directly to the agencies listed here. For questions about an agency's rates, availability or services, follow the link on that agency's listing and contact the agency through its own website. This helps keep directory corrections separate from requests for agency services.

When describing a change, be specific about what is incorrect and what evidence supports the revision. A useful message might identify the listing, quote an old description, link to the agency's current service page and propose replacement wording. If you are unsure about a detail, describe the uncertainty instead of presenting it as a confirmed fact. The same approach works for factual corrections in the blog guides.
